No, definitely not. Sealed Air bubble is barrier sealed, which means the bubbles will retain their air for longer than non barrier sealed versions.

Sealed Air bubble can be torn in a straight line - so no need for scissors or knives when packing
Rolls of bubble can be supplied perforated at set intervals - so you can tear off the same length each time
